Our client is looking for a Release / Project Manager for a 6 months contract in Toronto. This position is working remotely.
High potential for contract conversion to full time/permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities
As a Release / Project Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to:
Working on high-level business process analysis to define required project tasks
Being accountable for the planning and successful delivery of large projects with high risk, complexity and business impact
Being responsible for the presentation of the project plan to the customers
Leading and facilitating meetings and workshops as required
Managing the project team in a matrixed environment to ensure all work is completed and correct
Providing guidance in strategic provisioning planning to project team and customer
Providing overall project management for a specific customer
Being responsible for communicating all time related issues and overrun activities, including the documentation of significant events and problem resolution issues
Designing the methodology for project specifics
Providing guidance in strategic provisioning planning to project team and customer
Being responsible for designing and costing (using cost estimator tools) services
Qualifications
B.Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
Project management experience
Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines
Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies
Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
