The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Halifax is seeking an Associate to provide administrative support to a successful Advisory Team. To provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to both clients and advisory teams.
What will you do?
- Work with a great team in a dynamic and rewarding environment while having fun!
- Wealth Management coordination is a key responsibility.
- Coordinate with Financial Planning Team & Client Advisors to gather the necessary documentation for planning, insurance & estate needs.
- Prepare meeting reviews and attend client meetings. This is extensive and does require a large time commitment.
- Prepare and maintain our client’s family tree information.
- Support the team in the scheduling and preparation for client reviews and presentations.
- Support the team in preparing account opening, transfer and account maintenance documentation.
- Follow up on account administration with clients or back office as required.
- Maintain current knowledge of client accounts by reviewing daily activity and applicable reports.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment start date
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Willing to have fun!
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
- Industry experience of 2+ years
