ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities
o Open/close clinic and/or work area
o Review and action any phone messages
o Start up/shut down computer systems and other hardware and assess functionality ongoing
o Greet and process patients in a professional and organized manner
o Ensure excellent patient flow throughout the clinic at all times
o Verify health cards and accuracy of patient information and follow through on any requirements related to health card validity
o Create/process patient invoices
o Process paperwork etc. for patients requesting/requiring transfer to alternate treatment facility
o Manage all messages from physicians, pharmacies etc. Prioritize, and complete daily
o Process mail, scan documents, faxes, general data entry, filing
o Support Physicians for requirements related to OTN services
o Assist in training and development of new staff
o Maintain exceptional documentation throughout all position responsibilities. Always connect back to the chart to update actions/interactions
Clinical responsibilities
o Complete drug screening, process UDS samples as required and dispose daily
o Complete new patient intake packages as prep for physicians as required
o Assess Suboxone restarts by completing paperwork including COWS scale
Office Responsibilities
o Coordination of OTN set up/training and certification or update requirements for physicians/staff as required
o Liaison for community partners (CAS, Probation, Hospital etc)
o Coordinate with IT/Alarm company, Pharmacy etc. to ensure the environment and all tools & equipment are fully functioning at all times
o Seek budget approval for repairs/replacements as required
o Create/process/follow-up third party forms/transactions as required
o Coordination of physician/staff schedules in order to ensure adequate coverage for patient needs
o Monitor and update social media pages/sites
o Ensure that the office is well maintained, clean and stocked with all supplies required to deliver services by coordinating with cleaners, reordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
o Maintain safety and functionality of the environment by maintaining cameras, panic buttons, phone systems etc.
o Identify areas of risk and/or requirement for policy creation, work flow changes and participate in creation or correction.
o Support for staff, physicians, patients, pharmacy and community partners for “just in time” requirements to ensure daily needs are met and to deliver an environment of excellence

Completion of any health-related program
Previous experience in a medical environment
Previous experience with EMRs
Additional Notes
This position will require long hours sitting and using office computers and equipment that may cause muscle strain
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
