Red Hat Canada’s Sales Team is looking for a creative, passionate, resilient individual with a growth-oriented mindset who is ready to join us as a Sales Intern and learn within an innovative and dynamic company. This Sales Intern will join us virtually for summer 2023. You will have endless opportunities to learn, grow, and be challenged. Our Sales team does more than just sell software. We share the story of how Red Hat creates innovative open source software by collaborating with a global community of customers, partners, and contributors. As a Red Hat Sales Intern, you’ll be encouraged to contribute your ideas, help solve complex problems, and make a difference on your very first day. Our program offers many opportunities to fully experience what it’s like to be a Red Hatter, including lunch-and-learns with executives, volunteer opportunities, day trips, and after work events. The focus for Red Hat’s Intern Program is a dual partnership between the early talent team and our intern managers. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout your summer at Red Hat.
What you will do:
- Provide sales support to field sales professionals
- Research strategic and enterprise accounts and create detailed account plans
- Help improve attendance to marketing events
- Prospect and follow-up on leads
- Learn and sell Red Hat’s comprehensive enterprise solutions
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program and completed 3rd year or more
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving, technical environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in software and technology
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration
- Ability to work full time May-August
- Knowledge of Google Drive
