Children are a child’s first teachers and there is no better way to grow than with a loving and eager teacher, who will teach and care for your child with patience and enthusiasm. Our Early Childhood Teachers will work hard to create stimulating lessons, encourage children to develop their creativity, and help with homework. The ideal candidate not only focuses on the academic growth of our children, but also their social development, which is equally important in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit feelings from children and identify where they lie along a continuum of mental and behavioral states.
- Prepare to meet the needs of each child in a classroom of mixed-aged children.
- Be familiar with child development stages, theories, and programs and incorporate them into the children’s daily activities.
- Implement a curriculum that encompasses age-appropriate classroom activities, integrated units, and art projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
