Preparation of annual corporate budgets for Redbrick and the portfolio companies
FP&A including metrics development and management
Reporting preparation for the Executive Team across all portfolio companies within Redbrick
Supporting the VP of Finance and CEO on M&A activity related to financing and financial modelling
M&A due diligence analysis as needed
Liaising and coordinating with external accountants, bankers, lawyers as needed
Supporting and managing the Finance team including Accounting, Treasury, Payroll & Benefits
Responsible for the supervision, guidance and overall smooth operations of the Finance Department
Analyzing cash flow projections, budgets, and forecasts and providing support and guidance to our Payroll & Treasury Analyst
Ensuring year-end and month-end timelines
Ensuring all government filing deadlines are met on a timely basis
Identifying the key internal control points in a system or process
Supporting the Assistant Controller with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close and financial statement preparation

7+ years with a CPA designation
7+ years working at a Controller level AND higher
Advanced skills in Excel
Extremely skilled in technical accounting (ASPE required and US GAAP an asset)
Minimum of 5 years experience managing a team ideally with more than 3 direct reports
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to communicate and manage direct reports at various levels
Ability to jump in and help the team where and when needed to get the job done
A team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives
Ability to influence, guide and engage direct and indirect reports and peers
Self-reliant, strong problem solver and results-oriented
Highly motivated, a self-starter and a team player with the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
Extremely organized and accurate with superb attention to detail
Corporate tax planning experience a huge asset
Multi-entity and family office experience is an asset
