ReGen Medical Clinics – Etobicoke
We provide care for people living with substance use disorders.
POSITION: The ideal candidate must display sound personal character and strength and be able to handle a variety of demands from patients and doctors while maintaining a friendly non-threatening environment for all. Candidate will have to be able to multi-task handling telephone calls, dealing with patients and testing urine samples. Training will be provided on site.
AVAILABILITY:
Monday 1:00 – 5:00
Tuesday 9:00 – 12:00
Wednesday 1:00 – 5:00
Thursday 9:00 – 4:00
Friday 9:00 – 12:00
Occasional weekends
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Answer a high volume of incoming calls and make outgoing calls
– Update patients’ demographics accurately
– Check-in patients
– Communicate effectively with doctors and staff via electronic messaging
– Establish rapport with patients quickly
– Test Urine Samples and input results on the electronic medical record
– Communicate important medication dose information with pharmacies
– Maintain confidentiality as per the clinic policies
– Foster a collaborative working environment
– Adapt well to different roles and duties, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
– Completion of Medical Office Administration diploma an asset
– Knowledge of an EMR (electronic medical record) is a very strong asset.
– Show initiative and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
– Driver’s License and have access to a car, you may need to move between locations in Etobicoke
