About The Opportunity

The Copywriter and Email Coordinator is a dedicated resource to the rennie developer services project marketing team. This role develops compelling, creative, and on brand copy, content and design for all email marketing campaigns, in order to support the organization’s sales and marketing objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates copy, content and design for all project marketing email campaigns
• Reviews briefs, utilizes design templates and implements email marketing best practices for emails that convert
• Creates copy that increases engagement and generates more registrations
• Conducts thorough research to develop key words or phrases that engages the target audience
• Edits and proofreads copy as needed
• Sources images and other design elements
• Works collaboratively with developer services project teams to develop content planning schedule and workback
• Develops a thorough understanding of internal and external projects and marketing campaigns and strategies
• Adheres to individual projects brand style guides and tone of voice requirements
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Leadership

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, journalism, communications, or related field/equivalent
• Minimum 2-5 years of related experience

Desired Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong knowledge of local real estate market is an asset
• Demonstrated expertise in writing compelling and creative copy for email
• Experience producing copy for marketing campaigns
• Proficiency in graphic design
• MS Office, Google Suite, Stripo and Pardot experience required
• Collaborative, creative, flexible, and innovative team player with an ability to work effectively with peers, senior leaders, and key stakeholders
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, always maintains composure and an action-oriented attitude
• Excellent problem-solving, and analytical skills with good judgment to make timely and sound decisions
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow

Working Conditions

• Our home office is located just outside of Granville Island in Kitsilano and this role is primarily office based with some flexibility to work remotely

Salary Information

The typical base salary for this specific position is from $60,200 to $75,200. The salary offered is based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors including education, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and organizational needs. We also have a performance based bonus program that supports our employees by recognizing exceptional individual performance and company success.
