We are searching for a talented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources department to oversee our full-cycle recruiting, create an employee development plan, and create an engaging culture for our employees. You will represent Revolution Capital by creating a strong talent pipeline for our company’s current and future hiring needs. You will design and host career events. You should be able to coach employees to achieve their career goals while at Revolution. Our desire is that you will nurture trusting relationships with potential hires and develop long-term recruiting strategies. The Talent Management Coordinator reports directly to the Human Resources Director. This role could be performed virtually or from our head office in Woodbridge, Ontario.

You know where the hotspots are for sourcing top talent, and you will contribute to the success of Revolution Capital by sourcing and hiring talented and reliable people. You have a passion for people and helping others achieve their career goals. You have can demonstrate how to acquire, engage, and retain top talent.
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Develop and deploy a full cycle recruiting strategy to include pipelining of candidates, mining resumes, selling positions to potential candidates, networking and contacting recruiting sources, and attracting best in class candidates.
Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
Manage the entire recruiting cycle including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, managing customer and candidate expectations, extending offers through to onboarding.
Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
Source, gather, and interview passive job seekers utilizing best-in-class recruitment methods (cold calling, networking, recruitment campaigns). Anticipate industry trends and utilize market information to ensure best in class candidate sourcing.
Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System.
Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
Collaborate with Marketing Team to develop employer branding initiatives for recruiting.
Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
Develop, deploy and oversee the onboarding process. Giving each new hire a great start.
Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention and promotion.
Coach employees and offer development planning.
HR Generalist Requirements:
2+ years of proven work experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
2+ years of experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs).
2+ years of experience working with an HR system like BambooHR.
Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview and evaluation methods.
Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail, grammar, brand tone, and voice.
A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations.
Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks
BSc in Human Resources Management or relevant field
An organized self-starter capable of working alone or in teams with exceptional time management skills.
Extremely organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines!
Proactive with the ability to provide strong follow-through on projects.
Ability to accept direction.
Possesses an outstanding work ethic.
