Job Summary

The primary role of the Rental/Repair Supervisor is to coordinate the day to day operations of the rental/repair department while maximizing revenues and controlling expenses. This position will coach and mentor the rental/repair team to ensure the highest level of services for RMR’s guests while developing the skills of the rental/repair team members.

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinate day to day operations for rental/repair department
• Hire, train, supervise rental/repair team
• Create and maintain an effective staff schedule for rental/repair team, focus on controlling expenses
• Liaise with Retail & Rental Manager to review and create sales initiatives to maximize sales opportunities
• Ensure adequate inventory and resources are available to staff
• Complete accurate daily cash outs and audits in timely manner
• Update and maintain department training and procedure manuals
• Ensure adequate department appearance and cleanliness at all times
• Other duties required
• Assist other departments as required

Required Qualifications and Abilities

• Mature, enthusiastic, guest service oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory/leadership role
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a bike/ski/snowboard rental and repairs role
• Post-secondary education in business, sale, tourism or equivalent is an asset
• Previous experience with RTP or equivalent sales software
• Previous experience with cash handling and audit procedures
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong management and organizational skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent sales skills
• Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based applications
• Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures
• Excellent problem solving skills with a “can do” attitude
• Team player
• Able to perform moderate – heavy lifting
