You are a highly motivated individual with experience in digital marketing and lead generation. You’re a self-starter with a proven skill set that can both support and evolve within our fast-paced sales organization. You have a strong grasp of the English language on both a grammatical and conversational level. You can work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. You are relentless in pursuit of great results, are coachable, and work hard to achieve your goals – both personally and professionally.
Important aspects that you bring to the table:
Be a proactive self-starter
A commanding desire to learn and succeed
2-3 years of experience as a copywriter, certifications, and/or a degree relevant to copywriting is a plus
Be familiar with North American B2B landscape and communication best-practices
A copywriting portfolio with an array of relevant samples
Knowledge of SEO best practices
Previous experience in marketing communications
Passion for writing: a “wordsmith” who can offer creative ideas to improve client deliverability
Ability to write engaging and informative copy for a range of industries
Quick learner who can spend time learning the ins and outs of client profiles
Knowledge of any of the following industries: multi-channel marketing, content marketing, e-commerce, digital and mobile marketing, B2B and B2C sales
Must be proficient in basic office applications (Google Drive, Google Suite) and comfortable performing online research
Outstanding organizational, time management, and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Responsible for client research and campaign optimization
Craft fresh, innovative copy based on research
Write, edit, and proofread 10+ campaigns every month
Take an active role in examining what is and isn’t working on a granular level
Collaborate with reporting team for areas of improvement
Ensure that product copy is delivered in a timely fashion
Optimize copy as and when needed based on reporting
Maintains the original voice of the company brand throughout all content to ensure consistency
Other ad hoc duties as required
