Who are we and what do we do?
RFDM Solutions is a boutique marketing and technology consulting firm based in downtown Victoria. We create cutting edge digital marketing campaigns, websites, and custom software solutions for clients all over North America. We do this for industries as diverse as home improvement, medical technology, cybersecurity, non-profit, venture capital, and professional services. We are full stack marketing and sales technology experts, and our services include Digital Marketing and Marketing Automation, Website Development, CRM Solutions, and Custom Cloud Application development.
What’s the job all about?
The role is a hybrid between Wordpress web development and a cloud business consultant. On the Wordpress side, you’d be working with clients to design beautiful, modern websites that also are optimized for lead generation, ecommerce, and user experience. On the consulting side, you’ll help dig into our client’s business problems to come up with creative solutions that involve cloud software and new technologies.
Requirements
What kind of skills and experience do you need to have?
The main technical skills we would need you to have is the ability to create websites in Wordpress without a lot of supervision (i.e. knowledge of CSS, PHP, HTML5, theme design, plugins, etc) and a general comfort with learning new technologies rapidly. In terms of other important skills, you would need to be comfortable speaking with and listening to clients, being responsible for delivering projects on a deadline, and for juggling more than one project at a time.
With respect to experience, it would be great to hear from candidates that have at least a year or two working in a similar role, but we are also willing to train the right candidate that can demonstrate that they are proficient in the above skill sets and are willing to commit to filling their gaps in knowledge through some rapid on the job training.

Under normal circumstances, our team would work both in office as well as enjoying options for remote work. However, given the new BC guidelines towards Covid-19 we are offering all employees the choice to work remotely full-time or schedule specific days to work in the office until further notice.
