RIG Logistics is a professional dedicated transportation service for our valued customers.
As we continue to grow and provide quality professional transportation services, we are recruiting for a US Dispatcher /Planner to join our Calgary team.
Job Responsibilities
· Collaborate effectively with all team members in dispatch and transportation to achieve daily objectives.
· Responsible for monitoring loads and trucks in a specific geography prioritizing and planning power to move loads to destination
· Provide the highest levels of service to all customers with whom they interact, whether internal or external, with the goal of continuously improving the customer experience.
· Ensure that the assigned loads are confirmed with each driver prior to the completion of the work day.
· Confirm loads have been delivered or re-booked if needed and all safety and service incidents are reported to management.
· Follow up with drivers who are late with their loads and resolve any issues they may encounter.
· Respond to customer and drivers communication via email, phone, and messaging to resolve issues in an expedited manner.
· Ensure that drivers are submitting paperwork to the office team within 24 hours of delivery.
· Ensure accurate input of order data to keep information up to date and accurate in order to comply with government regulations.
· Comply with established company policies and procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
· Handling of all drivers related Satellite / Ring Central messages or calls within assigned and overflow queues.
· Provide drivers with all necessary paperwork to complete deliveries.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
· Work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
· Working knowledge of TMW Systems/Load Link are considered an asset.
· Basic understanding of ACI-ACE Manifest / US Border Crossings will be preferred.
· Understanding of the general geography of Canada and US will be an asset.
· Sense of urgency and responsive to changes in a timely and efficient manner
· Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
· Strong computer, organizational, and analytical skills.
· Proven ability to deal productively and professionally with internal and external customers.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
