Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that offers an invigorating work environment among a team of motivated professionals. While working closely and reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate in this role will be expected to manage the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The primary focus of this role is matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. What you get to do every day
– Perform full-cycle A/P
– Execute additional tasks as needed
– Provide support during internal and external audits
– Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
– Provide support to internal business partners
– Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis
– Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
– Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
– Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
– Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

– Quality experience with Invoice Entry

– Good understanding of Credit Card Reconciliation

– Well-founded grasp of Invoice Issues

– Practical knowledge of Invoice Processing

– Earlier work involving bank reconciliations

– Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

– Proven knowledge of Invoice

– Enter Invoices experience preferred

– Enter Vendor Invoices experience

– General familiarity with Invoice Payment

– Strong familiarity with Code Invoices

– Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

– Wide ranging experience with cash reconciliations

– Knowledge of Code Invoices

– Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

– AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

– High attention to detail

– Competent with spreadsheets and databases
