Robert Half Looking for Accounts Payable Clerk at Winnipeg, Manitoba Full Time

Robert Half is seeking a candidate for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk that is able to start asap. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the downtown area of Winnipeg, Manitoba area and will be a short-term contract. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.

How you will make an impact

– Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

– Produce full-cycle A/P

– Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

– Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

-Coordinate with operations on inventor coding and supplier reconciliations

– High attention to detail

– 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

– Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds

-Experience processing PO and non-PO invoices

-Must understand Canadian tax laws
