Robert Half is in search of an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing Construction company located in Cornwall. This is a full-time/permanent role on-site.Advantages:

Responsibilities:
-Compile and enter payroll data; post wage and reconcile errors to maintain payroll records
-Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
-Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
-Record changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage for each employee to update master payroll records
-Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees
-Enter new employee information into the software
-Accounts Receivables and Accounts payable functions
Qualifications:
-Post-secondary education in Accounting
-Bilingualism is a strong asset
-1+ year experience in accounting or payroll
-Experience with Quickbooks is an asset
-Experience in system implementation is an asset
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
-Great attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
-Must be willing to commute to the Cornwall office
-Punctual and team player
