Robert Half Looking for Controller at Edmonton, Alberta Full Time

Robert Half has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in West Edmonton. This company is looking for their next Controller to join the accounting leadership team. Operations of this growing business include sites across North America, primarily in Canada and the USA, also spreading out as far as Europe.

Everyday your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

-Multiple company financial reporting

-Develop internal controls to ensure activities are in accordance with regulations

-Provide advice on all accounting matters including financial systems, analysis, and reporting

-operating budget and reporting analysis

-Develop KPIs and reporting to measure progress around operational improvements

-Standard cost variance reporting

-preparation of monthly reporting package

-Lead annual budget reporting and forecasting process

-Provide analysis and commentary to assist operations in production planning

-CPA designation or relevant experience in a similar role in manufacturing

-Manufacturing experience

-Experience reporting under IFRS

-Proven leadership experience
