My NPO client based in New Westminster is seeking an ambitious Director of Human Resources to join their team. The successful candidate will enjoy wearing multiple hats, is not afraid to roll up their sleeves but will also partner with the senior leadership team to drive Human Resources strategy. As Human Resources Director you are someone who has a proven track record in driving strategies, compensation analysis, performance reviews, developing metrics and are also interested in mentoring and providing learning opportunities for the team. This role requires the Director of Human Resources to be an effective leader, to have the ability to communicate with all stakeholders and build rapport easily. Some of the key responsibilities will include – running the Human Resources department, overseeing metrics, strategic planning and development, recruitment, employee relations, grievances as well as partnering with the leadership team.
Requirements:
-Union experience
-7 plus years experience in a progressive HR role
-CPHR/relevant degree
-Superior communication skills both written and verbal
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is ready for the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and will be highly organized and have excellent communication skills. This person will be a will be a self-motivated individual and passionate about what they do. It would be advantageous if they have worked in a not for profit before but not necessary. This is an in office position.
