Robert Half is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a well renowned Non for Profit organization in the Ottawa-East region. This is a full-time/permanent position offering a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities:
▪ Full cycle accounting
▪ Processing data for accounts payable and accounts receivables
▪ General ledger entries, adjustments, and completion of
payments
▪ Prepare quarter end and year end journal entries, prepaid
expenses and accruals
▪ Prepare financial statements, quarter/year-end reports
Qualifications:
▪ 3+ years of experience in a similar role
▪ Bachelors degree in Finance or in a related field
▪ Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting and internal
control practices
▪ Knowledge and understanding of procurement procedures
▪ High level of attention to detail and ability to make
effective decisions
▪ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
