Robert Half is recruiting now for an experienced IT Operations Manager for our Client. As the successful candidate for the role, you will be responsible for taking on a lead role in understanding the business needs and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver strategic road mapping and end-to-end IT business workflows that will deliver and execute on the client’s promise to create an unforgettable customer service experience. Your ability to be a top performer in architectural design and a visionary leader with the IT team will support the continued development and advancement of key business needs. Our client is based in the Calgary, Alberta area but this role is available for hybrid remote (work from office/work from home) permissions for eligible Candidates.

MUST HAVES:
5 + years proven successful working experience in a Project Manager or IT systems role with proven working experience in strategic road mapping combined with proficient ability in Vendor auditing
Minimum of 3 years’ experience related to system architectural design and integration
Solid working experience with project management with proven working success in assessing client objectives, requirements and needs by utilizing various requirements gathering methodologies
A proficient understanding and working experience in all aspects of IT for business (networking, server administration, virtualization, web hosting, mobile technologies, cloud services etc.)
Experience with process mapping and process improvement tools (i.e., LEAN, Six sigma etc.)
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities to all levels of the organization
Strong organizational and analytical skills and attention to detail
Some travel business purposes is required
Strong business knowledge in retail and consumer products is preferred
Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or equivalent
ITIL Foundation v3 Certification is a definite asset
