Description Our client is looking for a QA Analyst for a contract until the end of the year, with a chance of extension after. The candidate can work remotely (within Ontario), however there is the possibility that some work would be required in the Guelph area. If you have the below requirements, please apply today!
Requirements –
- Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
- 3 + years of relevant QA experience.
- Experience working independently while supporting QA and other project leads.
- Strong excel skills.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices and processes.
- Relevant experience in supporting the development of test plans and strategies and support the test execution activities for projects of high complexity.
Responsibilities –
- Provide support to execute a defined testing strategy and plan.
- Will have experience SAP Employee Central SuccessFactors. Sodales labour relations experience is also a benefit.
- Must be comfortable with highly complex solutions. Experience with cloud ERPs a benefit.
- Support the QA Lead and Workstream Leads in test planning, preparation and execution activities
- Provide support for QA Lead while they analyze, develop, debug, execute and maintain complex automated test cases.
- Assist in coordinating testing planning, support with multiple stakeholder groups both technical and functional.
- Support documentation creation, review, and sign-off.
- Support the QA lead in prioritizing testing tasks, ensure milestones, activities and tasks are completed as scheduled per the project plan.
- Assist in executing test cases and collaborate in the severity of issues reported for validity.
- Perform test cases, scripts and processes inclusive of manual and automated testing.
- Assist with reporting on test planning, execution, and defects to project team using defined standard test quality metrics.
- Support test environments with support from technical team.
- Participate in testing meetings and help with follow-up actions.
Nice to have –
ISTQB certification
Experience working with Azure DevOps (test suite and test cases) and/or JIRA
Experience developing automated test cases with Selenium
Experience with Unit and Integration Testing
Experience testing APIs with Postman
