Robert Half Looking for Sr. Tax Accountant at North York, Ontario Full Time

You will be responsible, in all respects for year-end file preparation for accounts assigned. This includes, ensuring that complete information is received on a timely basis for the completion of the year-end, within budget, preparation of T5013, T4, T5, T3, T2 and T1, assisting in the preparation of year-end meeting packages including annual tax plan, preparation of T2057, routine correspondence with clients and their representatives and CRA.

Qualifications:
– Experience in a CPA, CA firm with owner–managed businesses as the primary client base, exposure to health care professionals an asset.
– Solid tax knowledge, compliance filings
– Handling client groups and single entity accounts.
– Ability to identify issue and opportunities
– Organized, detail oriented, creative, able to handle multiple engagements and multi-task with competing priorities Engagement and time management skills are well developed
– Fluent in all file and tax software used (ie Caseware/Caseview/ Taxprep)
