Position Title: CAN – Operations Officer II
Pay Rate: $21.93
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Extension possible: yes depending on availability
Conversion Possible: yes depending on availability
Will they be working a rotational schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am-3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am- 5pm, 10am-6pm
Overtime or weekends required: Occasionally with approval
Interviews: 1 round Webex
Location: 10205-101st Street Northwest. Hybrid – 2 days remote, 3 days in-office
Training: In person until they are proficient
Parking: No parking on site
Office Location: 10205-101st Street Northwest Edmonton Alberta (onsite)
Job Description:
Working in an administrative capacity completing a combination of data entry, clerical, investigations and mortgage discharges. Successful candidate will require strong command of the English language, both verbal and written. Telephone contact may be required. Perform other duties as required. Provides a broad range of operational support and/or performs general to specialized transactions or other processing activities. Works in an administrative capacity completing a combination of RightFax processing, data entry including inputting documentation, investigations, loan maintenance including system programming, and mortgage discharges. Able to demonstrate flexibility by adapting to change within business area and unit. Actively participate in any cross-skilling/training opportunities within the business unit. Advanced understanding of MS Office Applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint would be an asset.
As a Commercial BKS employee, you will be required to complete an online account disclosure document for trading accounts excluding accounts restricted to holding only mutual funds; for yourself as well all spousal accounts in which you have power of attorney, trading authority or where your spouse discusses trading activity in which you are relied upon for advice; need to be disclosed. Employees covered by this policy must request prior approval from Firewalls Compliance to trade in securities (equities and corporate bonds). This process is designed to protect employees (who are unaware that inside information is being used within their business unit) when they are trading for their own accounts.
