Delivery Management Analyst Co-op

Position Overview:

As a Delivery Management Analyst Co-op, you will contribute to a variety of projects and initiatives within Roche Informatics, a global organization that enables business strategy across all 3 divisions of Roche: Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics and Diabetes Care.

As a member of the Delivery Management Chapter, you will be partnered with Senior Delivery Managers and Product Managers, executing on IT projects and taking accountability for the Agile project delivery, project management, governance and continuous improvement of services associated with one or more products (technology solutions) to the Business.

Job Responsibilities:

Skills and capabilities you will develop:

• Support project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects
• Coordinate project communications and stakeholder engagement
• Assist in developing project plans, timelines, resource allocation and risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects using Agile methodologies
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide updates on project progress and impediments
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the smooth delivery of IT services to end-users
• Coordinate incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and resolution
• In collaboration with Product Managers, ensure releases and changes are delivered in a controlled and agile manner
• Assist in documenting standard operating procedures and best practices for service delivery.
• Provide support in managing budgets (operations and enhancements) for products & services, including permits/licenses and personnel costs
• Work closely with business partners and external vendors / customer success managers for driving continuous improvements to facilitate ‘good enough’ team output.
• Participate in and drive various IT community building events, Roche Canada Corporate events and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities throughout the term.

Who you are:

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (Bachelor’s degree) with a Co-op component (preferably in the Computer Science, Information Technology, Business IT, Computer Engineering, Business Technology Management discipline).
• Must have completed at least 2 years of academic study.
• Preferable experience: to have at least one prior Co-op or Internship experience
• A desire to learn more in the field of IT Project Management, Delivery, IT Service Management, Agile methodologies.
• Problem solving skills
• Team oriented player
• Familiarity with the Google suite of components (Gmail, Calendar, Meet, Drive, Currents)
• Ability to think critically and “outside the box” to implement IT business solutions
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
• Enjoy collaborating in an Agile environment with large cross functional global teams.
• Drive to work autonomously, navigate roadblocks and be resourceful and with self-direction

Note: This is not a technical role where coding knowledge is required or practiced in the job.

Additional Information:

• This position is a 8-month (12-month can be considered as well) work term (full-time) and will begin in January 2024
• Our team follows a hybrid work structure (minimum 2 days in the office)
