About the position:
The Integration Engineer performs the necessary facilitation, analysis and design tasks related to the development of integration solutions following our enterprise technical architecture (ETA), and applies them to solutions that enable business strategies and processes. The Integration Engineer will be knowledgeable about enterprise integration patterns such as application integration, systems integration, data integration, B2B/EDI as well as API management.
Your key responsibilities:
- Implement integration solutions in ServiceNow using out of the box spokes, custom flows, as well as ancillary integrations on our integration platforms, i.e., MuleSoft, Solace, etc
- Build, and manage APIs ServiceNow Integration POrtal and MuleSoft API Manager. Implement and enforce API security measures and access controls
- Work closely with the development team to ensure the successful integration of systems and applications
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to integration solutions. Perform debugging and troubleshooting of integration processes
- Conduct, support unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing of integration solutions. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability and quality of developed integrations
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integration solutions, including design documents, API specifications, and configuration details
- Implement security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior developers or team members. Stay informed about industry trends and share insights with the team
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed integration solutions. Address and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure system reliability
- Must have good client-facing skills and stakeholder management experience
