We are looking for a Delivery Manager for the access networks team. The candidate will be responsible for projects in a dynamic fast paced environment focused on network growth and technology deployments. He will be responsible for managing multiple strategic projects to deliver new services for the Access networks in the Quebec Region.
The successful candidate will work creatively, collaboratively, and analytically demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and delivery excellence.
What you will be doing:
Manage the design and the build of project in a fluid and fast-paced environment
Execute escalations to various groups through proper channels
Manage the Engineering, Implementation, Execution and Closure of projects
Based on the project requirements, identify & govern overall scope, deliverables, and interdependencies to deliver on the project objectives and in-service targets.
Build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Manage groupings of projects and budgets to meet various business objectives
In collaboration develop, monitor, and control project implementation plans, critical paths, and interdependencies
Set project expectations and priorities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Schedule regular Project status and planning meetings with project team and stakeholders
Provide daily/weekly/monthly reporting, including for higher management and executives
Develop and maintain project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Lessons Learned)
What you bring:
5+ years of experience delivering new telecom network implementation projects
Bilingualism is required: A good knowledge of English is necessary as this role requires regular communication in English with customers and/or team members in other provinces.
Deep understanding of Health and Safety requirements for field services
Ability to work with technical documents (ex: standards, planning specifications)
Ability to work under pressure, including escalations
Strong project financial forecasting and cost management
Strategic thinker who can make decisions and plan, develop, and implement innovative solutions
A highly motivated individual with strong leadership, organizational, analytical, troubleshooting and resolution skills
