The Rohit Group in Calgary is currently looking to add a full-time, permanent Construction Technician to our fast-paced growing team! This position requires someone who has a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow within a team.
What will you do in this role?
Maintain construction sites cleanliness and safety from garbage and debris, snow removal, sweeping and pressure washing.
Ensure that access into and out of home sites are safe and clean (includes stairs, ramps, guardrails, sidewalks, and driveways).
General labor functions such as site cleanup and maintenance as needed.
Perform touch ups and repairs on deficiencies left by trades.
Assist Site Superintendent and the Assistant with quality controls checks on framing, insulation, foundation, and pre-occupancy per company’s standard.
Communicate with trades and suppliers by phone, email, or in person as instructed.
Other related duties as required by the Site Superintendent or Assistant Site Superintendent.
What do we look for?
2 years of experience in residential construction.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Computer Savvy.
Clean driver’s abstract.
Willingness to learn.
