As Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for managing processes and communications related to our pension plans as well as our local and international assignments of our workforce. If you have a good understanding of pension plan governance and global mobility processes together with a positive mindset and can-do attitude, we want to hear from you.

You will be accountable for:

  • New hire pension onboarding process, including being the first point of contact for newly hired employees and monitoring eligibility to enroll employees in the pension plan
  • Processing pension contribution files for union and non-union employees
  • The configuration and testing for annual pension re-enrollments, answering employee questions and coordinating of all pensions related activities during annual re-enrollment
  • Performing analysis and reconciling year-end pension adjustment by balancing tax returns and ensuring information on the returns is correct prior to distribution.
  • All pension related government filings such as Annual Information Returns (AIRs), Form 7, Investment Information Summary (Form 8)
  • Analysis and reconciliation of internal and external pension audit
  • Preparation of relevant information required by the pension consultant for employee’s annual financial statements
  • Fully responsible for the coordination of activities relating to the Pension Board meetings
  • Facilitate financial wellness initiatives to improve the financial literacy of employees
  • Administering the relocation processes for domestic and international assignees and be responsible for mobility programs (permanent relocation, short- and long-term assignments, etc.), regulatory compliance and other global mobility-related matters
  • Be the main contact for employees and business partners on domestic and international assignment
  • Preparation and review of all activities required for mid-year and year-end payroll letter for assignees
  • Other pension and global mobility related duties as required

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE

  • 2-3 years of HR experience with knowledge of pension plans preferable
  • College diploma or university degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Vendor management skills as well as relationship management across all levels of organization
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well solid presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel
  • SAP HR experience is an asset
  • Experience within a CPG, multi-national environment
  • Previous experience in global mobility projects is preferred
  • Bilingual (English & French) and/or HR certification are an asset
