Human Resources Team strategically partners with the leaders of our organization to provide support with employment legislation compliance, employee and labour relations, recruiting and retaining top talent, performance management and training with the focus of meeting and exceeding goals and expectations set by senior leadership. Our team researches, plans, develops, implements and evaluates best practice Human Resources and organizational strategies. As needed, data is analyzed, manipulated, and presented to the leadership and senior leadership team to support business functions. Our Human Resources Program partners with Telus Employer Solutions (TES) for many back-office HR and Payroll functions. This partnership includes the HR Support Centre, which is available to all RVH employees via phone or email to assist with any inquiries regarding HR administration and benefits, career opportunities, payroll, and HRIS or recruitment systems technical support. Additionally, our HRIS (PeopleSoft) and scheduling (Kronos) systems, including a self-service resource centre, the HR HUB, is maintained by our teams so all employees have 24/7 access to information on programs, forms and services from work, home or mobile.
As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to Human Resources leadership and team members with day-to-day administrative support. In addition to performing traditional Administrative Assistant duties such as word processing, filing, minute taking, arranging meetings, copying and the Administrative Assistant manages the Human Resources reception area and functions as a primary communication link between the rest of the hospital, the public and departmental staff. Due to the nature of our work environment, this is an onsite role.
