The Position:

We’re looking to expand our Finance team and looking for our next great team member. If you have solid senior accounting skills and are looking to grow professionally this is a great opportunity. This role will lead the RPS portfolio with Canadian and US operations. Are you ready to be challenged yet supported with an experienced team? We’re open to remote work arrangements with coming into the office as required or occasionally to maintain strong working relationships and enjoy the amazing view of the bay!

What You Will Do:

· Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

· Managing financial consolidation, monthly reporting and reconciliations

· Establishing and maintaining internal controls and procedures, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

· Preparation and review of journal entries

· Pricing and costing updates in ERP system

· Assisting and participation with annual external audit

· Analysis and interpretation of financial data

· Work collaboratively across the organization as a genuine financial working partner advising and guiding business units

· Ability to streamline and improve processes through good change management practices & approaches

· Participate or lead special projects as required

What You Bring:

· 4+ years of relevant experience in corporate accounting

· Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) or close to completion

· Previous experience in the manufacturing sector a strong asset

· Good MS Office skills with advanced Excel skills, proficiency using ERP systems and related technologies

· Excellent people skills

· Ability to supervise, coach and lead team members; work seamlessly with shared team member resources

· Strong attention to detail with ability to see larger picture and trends

· Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

Salary: From $80,000.00 per year
