Russel Metals is currently seeking someone who is eager to learn, committed to having a safe and healthy workplace and to ensuring the delivery of quality products for the position of General Labourer in our Aberfoyle, Ontario Branch.
Please note – our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring safe procedures are followed while performing job responsibilities
- Complying with workplace policies and procedures (operational and health and safety)
- Ensuring quality products for our customers
Education And Skills Required
- Able to work shift work
- Able to perform some heavy lifting
- Good knowledge of math and measurements
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated, results oriented.
Preferable
- Experience in operating overhead cranes and forklift.
Shift: Day/Afternoon rotation; 1 week DAYS (7am-3pm) / 1 week AFTERNOONS (3pm-11pm)
Hourly Rate: $22.97 – $29.37
