Sales Support Specialist
(Technical)
Please note: This position requires a minimum 1 year experience in Technical Sales.
As a member of the Technical Sales Team and reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be the main point of contact for customer support regarding technical product inquiries. You will be responsible for supporting customers regarding technical questions, dealing with product issues, investigating, and implementing solutions including product changes. This position supports the Sales and Engineering departments to ensure Customer requirements are met.
The ideal candidate is an individual with a Technician / Technologist diploma with prior work experience in the Heavy truck market and strong knowledge of the commercial transportation industry. Is knowledgeable in SolidWorks and has a working knowledge of technical drawings. Being mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and an eager team player with good communication skills is essential. An individual who is bilingual (English/French) would be an asset. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Team Center PDM system would be beneficial.
This position will require some travel to Customers across Canada. Relevant technical aptitude and communication skills are a prerequisite for this position as are strong interpersonal skills, honesty, integrity, and accountability.
