Email Marketing Manager

Safyre Labs is looking for a creative and experienced Email Marketing Manager that will be responsible for overseeing our email-marketing program to increase customer engagement, loyalty and sales. The successful candidate will be an analytically minded strategist with campaign automation and data segmentation experience.

Jewlr (www.jewlr.com) is the primary e-Commerce brand by Safyre Labs and is the leading online destination for personalized jewellery. Jewlr is a rapidly growing brand that leverages innovation and technology to disrupt the traditional global jewelry industry. Founded in 2009, Jewlr has won several innovation awards and has over one million customers globally.

Lee Fiori (www.leefiori.com) was launched in 2019 and leverages Jewlr’s technology and allows customers to design the jewellery themselves, providing competitive differentiation in the marketplace.

We design and produce the jewellery for both brands, in our state-of-the-art workshop located in Toronto, Canada. We handcraft and control the quality for the jewellery, for our customers to enjoy.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team that manages our two jewelry brands email marketing strategy and execution.

• Develop the monthly email calendar

• Oversee and execute creative briefs

• Execute ongoing testing regimen (subject lines, layout, format, frequency, etc.) to continuously improve email performance focused on user engagement

• Partner with Brand Teams to convey Jewlr and Lee Fiori’s identity and meet company performance objectives

• Responsible for developing and presenting Bi-weekly and Monthly reporting to key stakeholders in the company. Bringing forth information to help make decisions

• Collaborate with Creative, Digital and Merchandising teams to build segments and understand customer behavior/customer lifecycle

• Develop strategies to improve open rates and click through rates by testing and implementing dynamic personalized content

• Develop strategies to improve email engagement rates through automation and personalization

• Proactively report on email marketing trends to provide innovative email channel recommendations

• Serve as internal expert relative to compliance & best practices, list clean-up and maintaining a clean database, prospect and subscriber segmentation, improving email deliverability, data integrity, etc

• Suggest UX improvements to email templates

• Lead large scale Email / CRM project launches that are on the company road map.

Required Expertise:

• University degree or college diploma in a related field

• 5+ years of experience working in Email Marketing

• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring a team

• Have extensive knowledge of segmented communication strategies, lifecycle marketing and analytics

• Experience leading Enterprise level Email Marketing Strategy

• Strong working knowledge of marketing principles

• Knowledge of Google Analytics and working with large data sets

• Proven team player who is both flexible and highly adaptable
