Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Senior Social Media & Marketing Specialist is responsible for increasing brand awareness through content management to support the company’s B2B, B2B2C and influencer marketing and communications activities.
Work in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales Enablement teams to plan, execute and maintain all customer-facing digital channels including the corporate website, marketing cloud e-campaigns and social media platforms.
Responsible for the Company’s social media platforms including monitoring and escalating concerns/issues that may arise impacting the Company’s reputation/brand with appropriate and timely resolutions that include stakeholder input.
Works with the Director, Marketing and Communications to develop and execute approved digital strategies that drive brand awareness and maintain brand equity.
Coordinate and execute paid/unpaid media across different social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Sagen On-the-Go as well as Sagen.ca.
Provide campaign performance and analytics on a quarterly basis and recommend opportunities to enhance customer engagement.
Responsible for management and content of the editorial calendar.
Support the Sales Enablement team with training materials such as sales methodologies, on-boarding, the customer journey and campaign activities at Head Office and in the field.
Represent the Company at events and other marketing opportunities as needed.
Represent the Marketing & Communications department on cross functional projects as well as perform other duties of the department as required.
Skills And Qualifications
Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related experience included brand management
Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience working as a Marketing Specialist or in a related field.
Knowledge and understanding of content marketing and integrating social media platforms (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and how each platform can be leveraged.
Prior experience working with Marketing Cloud and SalesForce.
Excellent written, verbal and listening skills with a willingness to partner with the business to understand and interpret business needs and translate them into applicable marketing & communications content.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, interpersonal and creative skills.
Team player with a willingness to pitch in and support others when necessary. Able to balance own priorities with those of the broader team.
Some travel and after-hours support will be required due to the nature of the role.
