The role: Mid-Market Account Executive
Location: Vancouver (Hybrid)
Our client is an industry leading SaaS platform that helps organizations primarily in the construction space to digitize their safety programs with an intuitive, actionable safety app. They have built the platform to mirror a multitude of existing safety workflows digitally, combining a web app for real-time monitoring of daily operations with powerful reporting capabilities, and a mobile app designed specifically for achieving the highest level of adoption amongst field-level workers.
Our client is a well-funded, VC-backed startup with a strong culture, a solid customer base spanning North America and an impressively high retention rate. They are looking for an experienced Account Executive (AE) who wants to lead the charge of the safety evolution within construction while closing new customers, generating pipeline, and having a direct impact on the developing sales culture. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the AE will work Mid-Market accounts across the US alongside two BDRs to prospect, create and close new prospects and grow the customer base.
About The Role
- Focus on Mid-Market construction accounts across the US
- Manage opportunities that are a combination of self-sourced (hunted), Marketing, and Partner generated deals
- Qualify and develop leads from all sources above to create revenue opportunities, coordinate client meetings and online demonstrations of the solution
- Work with our prospects to understand their pain-points, align our solution to their needs, develop business cases and engage key stakeholders through to close
- Conduct compelling, value-based demonstrations
- Maintain accurate forecast and track activity in Salesforce
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years as an Account Executive selling SaaS solutions (B2B SaaS selling experience in/to Construction is a plus)
- Experience working Mid-Market Deal sizes ($20K – $100K Average Contract Value)
- Self-motivated and resourceful in finding solutions
- Always curious and learning from the market, customers and team.
Compensation:
- $90k base salary + uncapped commissions, based on a 50/50 model (on target overall earnings of $180k)
- Hybrid model: work from home Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
