Role Overview

As a Mutual Fund Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in educating and assisting our valued clients in planning for their children’s future education. You will be part of a team that specializes in taking funds out of RESPs for post-secondary education, helping families make the most of their savings.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your mutual fund sales experience to connect with potential clients and convert leads into valuable customers.
• Specialize in RESPs and educate clients on the government grants and limits available to them.
• Conduct thorough reviews of clients’ risk profiles to match their investment profiles and provide personalized solutions.
• Work with a large volume of inbound leads, ensuring prompt and effective follow-up.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve quarterly net new asset targets.
• Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Requirements:

• 1-2+ years of experience in mutual fund sales is a requirement.
• MFDA license is mandatory, with the minimum requirement being the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFCA.
• Knowledge of RESPs and registered education savings plans is essential.
• Proven business development and deal-closing experience.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
