Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant reports to the Director of Finance.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing daily collection controls covering stores and treasury
- Overview Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Bank reconciliations, store cash management.
- Treasury management
- Responsible for full cycle accounting process.
- Managing relations with the auditors.
- Participation in stimulating projects related to financial function to improve and modernize processes.
- HST and Tax preparation and payment
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA Designation.
- Excellent English communication skills is a necessity (French is an asset).
- A minimum of 4 years experience as a Financial Analyst or Senior Accountant in an audit firm, mainly in an SMB environment.
- Strong organization and time management capabilities.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excel skills
- Experience in Sage 500 (asset)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
