This role is responsible for managing Mobile eXperience (MX) part inventory levels for the assigned parts division and manage MX parts orders with parts depot to purchase orders as necessary to support optimized stock level. This role communicates with our service part vendor, Parts Depot, Sales and Quality Control on service parts related issues. Communication with parts suppliers is required to obtain parts availability, delivery date and shipment status for svc parts. Managing buffer stock in service team is also required to support the planning team’s activities.
Role and Responsibilities
Monitor, analyze and recommend a direction in MX Parts supply management under HQ guidelines
Managing to maintain adequate stock levels and inventories for MX Service parts
Manage and Validate the forecast through various analysis (historical, seasonality etc.) to facilitate demand consensus across the division and within assigned product categories
Identify and communicate supply constraints in a timely manner and create recovery plans
Coordinate with vendors and logistics to expedite shipments as required ensuring parts arrive on time to meet customer requested delivery dates
Coordinate with GPCA/SEA/HQ/Vendor to manage Obsolete/Surplus Stock
Top Back Order Status Report and Share with GPCA/SEA/HQ
Review Daily Sales Orders and communicate with GPCA/SEA or Service centers
Daily Communication with Suppliers, GPCA/SEA/HQ, Management and internal Team
Manage buffer stock in the service team and support planning team activities as required
Some travel to the parts warehouse within the GTA is required
Skills and Qualifications
Education:
Knowledge:
Bilingual (English/Korean) is an asset
Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point & Word as well as basic computing skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
The ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple and simultaneous tasks and programs in a changing corporate environment
