Who You Are:
As the Change Management and Communication Manager for Enterprise Data Governance, you will play a crucial role in driving organizational change and ensuring effective communication strategies are implemented within the data governance framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth transitions, mitigate resistance, and maximize adoption of data governance initiatives across the enterprise. Your responsibilities will involve developing and executing change management plans, crafting clear and compelling communications, and fostering a culture of data governance, data stewardship and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Change Management Strategy:
Develop comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support the implementation of enterprise data governance program.
Identify potential risks and resistance to change and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
Work closely with GBUs/GFs and digital teams to assess the impact of changes and develop strategies to minimize disruption to business operations.
Establish evolving key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of change management and communication efforts.
Communication planning and execution:
Create clear, concise, and engaging communication materials to convey the purpose, benefits, and expectations of data governance initiatives to various stakeholders.
Collaborate with different GBUs/GFs and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
Utilize multiple communication channels, such as emails, presentations, intranet, and town hall meetings, to reach different audience segments effectively.
Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate employees on data governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across different departments and levels of the organization to gain buy-in, and support for enterprise data governance and also, to support data governance adoption.
Act as a liaison between GBUs/GFs/digital data team, and executive leadership to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
Solicit feedback from key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments to Enterprise data governance program.
Foster a culture of data stewardship, accountability, and compliance by promoting the value of data governance within the organization.
Leverage various communication channels to foster data governance awareness and adoption to support data centric culture across the organization.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in change management and communication to continuously improve strategies and approaches.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience 8 years in change management, communication, or organizational development roles, preferably within the context of data governance or information management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and mediums.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks, regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and data management best practices are plus.

Experience working in life sciences/pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
