Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary leader interested in shaping the management of people at risk of developing/or with T1 diabetes.
As the Brand Lead, you will be primarily responsible to co-build and adapt the Glocal brand strategy in Canada for a first-in-class therapy in Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes.
Reporting to the Canadian Head of Autoimmune AT1D, this role is strategically positioned to realize the ambition for T1D and contribute to the overall future success of Sanofi.
Key Responsibilities :
Co-building with Global Brand team (GBT) the Glocal brand strategy (Integrated Growth Plan), providing insights on local ecosystem, trends and care pathways (e.g., treatment landscape, T1D awareness level, main prescribers and referrers along the patient pathway, etc.) to inform the strategic development process and adapting it to the local context.
Given the Glocal plans, strategically assessing the timing, resourcing and opportunity of launching potential indications (delay onset, early intervention) in Canada.
Adapting brand positioning to country specificities, to maximize customer relevancy and brand value at country level.
Developing, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, a local multi-factorial stakeholder engagement strategy for a broad stakeholder ecosystem (incl. HCPs, KOLs, DOLs, PAGs, governments, payers, think tanks, scientific societies, etc.) by understanding how they impact each other and ensuring engagement is tailored to stakeholders’ level of maturity regarding the T1D paradigm transformation.
Building on global framework, defining the local customer segmentation incl. prioritization.
Building on global framework, localizing ‘personas’ in priority segment(s) with a deep understanding of their preferences to ensure optimal customization of engagement content at country level.
Localizing global content and messaging (when appropriate) leveraging multiple data sources and innovative value story techniques to ensure a compelling value narrative is available at country level and is tailored to the different segments of customers based on local go-to-market model.
Sharing compelling narrative across multiple engagement platforms to educate a broad range of stakeholders at country level and shift the paradigm of Type 1 Diabetes.
Leveraging sophisticated data and analytical capabilities to identify and prioritize the most attractive growth opportunities at country level.
Developing adequate tactics from the strategy to develop core initiatives for the brand & indication(s) and to implement them consistently and measurably during the Launch phase.
Tracking KPI’s and metrics to measure commercial performance
Defining and executing commercial pre-launch activities in collaboration with cross-functional launch team and the country Launch lead (e.g., Medical, Market Access, Public Affairs).
Developing forecasts based on market insights and market research data to quantify long-term revenue potential.
Key Requirements:
Education and Experience :
Advanced Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or a related field. MBA is a plus
Desired experience in Specialty / Rare disease / Type 1 Diabetes
At least 5-7 years of industry experience in Commercial / Marketing roles
Proven experience in successfully defining and driving commercial launch strategy for an innovative product requiring monitoring/screening and/or strong disease area shaping
Demonstrated successful Brand P&L Ownership accountability

Strong analytical capabilities, incl. forecasting
Ability to develop, with cross-functional teams, a local multi-factorial stakeholder engagement strategy for a broad stakeholder ecosystem by understanding how they impact each other
Strong analytical skills
Deep understanding of the entire local healthcare ecosystem
Ability to take data-driven decisions on priority segments and initiatives for growth (based on customer needs)
Driver and curious to learn new initiatives in digital pharma marketing excellence

Travel: 30%
