We are seeking a Search Marketing, SEO Manager to join our team and help us take our digital marketing efforts to the next level. In this role, you will have the chance to shape our search marketing strategy, be a key growth driver for the company, and help build SAPs brand.
As an SEO Lead at SAP, you will play a pivotal role in driving organic growth by developing and executing effective SEO strategies. You will work with a team of SEO specialists and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our online visibility, increase organic traffic, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, a proven track record of success, and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends. But most importantly, we are looking for someone with a growth mindset whos always learning, iterating, and making our way of working as a team better, every day.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with the company’s growth goals and objectives.
Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value, relevant keywords and phrases to target in SEO campaigns.
On-Page Optimization: Oversee on-page SEO efforts, including optimizing website content, meta tags, headers, and internal linking structure.
Technical SEO: thorough understanding of technical side of SEO, including what makes our website technically sound, addressing issues related to site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability.
Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize content that is SEO-friendly, engaging, and informative.
Link Building: Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase the website’s authority and backlink profile.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Conductor, Adobe Analytics and SEO software, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors’ SEO strategies to identify opportunities and threats.
Algorithm Updates: Stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes and adapt strategies accordingly to maintain or improve rankings.
Collaboration: Work closely with other digital marketing teams (PPC, web, social media, content) to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing campaigns.
Communication: be an artful and impactful communicator, while working with your cross-functional stakeholders and teams.
PPC SEO: experience in synergetic collaboration with paid search; be able to advise and drive a joint PPC and SEO strategy for the solution area/portfolio of coverage.
International SEO: understand and able to define strategy, drive working model to land SEO strategy in different global markets e.g. APJ, MEE, EMEA, etc. recognizing market specific nuances and reflect in search strategy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience in SEO with a track record of improving organic search visibility and driving results.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
knowledge of SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz).
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management systems (CMS).
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Creativity and a passion for staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Certifications such as Google Analytics or Google Ads are a plus.
