SCHOOL DISTRICT 47 (POWELL RIVER)
ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CASUAL EUCATION ASSISTANTS (EAs)
School District 47 is seeking applications for the above noted position. Working under the direction of the School Principal and/or Director of Student Support Services, casual EAs work in elementary and secondary schools supporting students and assisting teachers and counsellors with teaching and non-instructional tasks.

Required qualifications must include
Completion of a one-year accredited Educational Assistant program or a one-year program in a related Educational Assistant field. The certificate must be obtained from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Basic computer knowledge and facility with keyboarding
A valid BC driver’s licence.
Level 1 First Aid is desirable.
Start date
As soon as arrangements can be made.
