SOUTH CENTRAL INTERIOR DISTANCE EDUCATION SCHOOL
1.0 FTE Temporary full-time Grades 8 to 12 Academic Advising, Career Life Education 10 and Career Life Connections 12 teaching position, annualized to 0.422 FTE, beginning immediately to June 30, 2024.
Required Qualifications
Training and experience working with grade-level students.
Experience adapting materials, resources, assessments and learning outcomes for student needs.
Valid BC Teaching Certificate and familiarity with BC Curriculum.
Teaching category five or higher.
Preferred Qualifications
A commitment to supporting a variety of learning needs.
Experience/training in supporting the social-emotional learning needs of students.
Committed to establishing and maintaining positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
Committed to working as a member of a school team in support of students.
Moving Allowance Support: $1500.00 for teachers within BC and $2000.00 within Canada.

The starting annual salary for this full-time teacher position ranges from $58,340 to $106,217, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
