THIS ROLE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING TASKS, but not necessarily limited to: CONSTRUCTION CLEANING ONSITE, CONCRETE CHIPPING, FIRE CAULKING, HOISTING AND RIGGING, MATERIAL MOVEMENT, MACHINE OPERATIONS, AND ASSISTING OTHER TRADES.

Scope Gap Contractors Inc. has pioneered a new type of contracting business that we call ‘Scope Gap Contracting’. Our teams handle the many critical tasks that fall outside of the main sub trades’ scope of work on constructions sites large and small. The role we play in “filling the gaps” on site has been a game changer for our extremely satisfied customers. We are currently seeking FULL TIME, PERMANENT Construction Labourers to perform the following tasks:
You must be able to work FULL TIME- MONDAY TO FRIDAY-7AM-5PM
Job Requirements:
· Provide support to the team through various hands on construction and site tasks
· Compliance with Company health and safety training and reporting requirements
· Loading and unloading of vehicles with supplies, equipment, and construction material
· Clean, maintain and service tools, equipment, and machinery
· Move tools, equipment, machinery, and construction material to and from work areas
· Prepare sites and clean up rubble and debris in a timely manner to ensure a safe and well-maintained construction site
· Physically fit and able to lift 50 lbs.
· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
· Able to receive, interpret and act on directions in a timely and efficient manner
· Able to work under pressure
· Able to make decisions based on sound judgment and reasoning
· High attention to detail
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Ability to work both independently and under direct supervision in a busy environment
· Tools required: Hand Tools (Utility knife, lineman pliers, tape measure)
· Perform other duties as required
· First Aid skills and/or certificates are considered assets
· Working at Heights, Elevated Lift and other typical operating certifications are considered assets
