The team:
Scotiabank Global Network Engineering & Design team is responsible for developing the road-map, standards and providing the Telecommunication & Unified Communication (UC) network engineering & design to support the bank’s various global lines of business. We are working with various technology teams and committed to deliver highly-resilient telecommunication services in the campus, branches, trading floors and contact/call centers. As part of the larger Global Network Engineering team, there is involvement in end-to-end network connectivity including Wired, Wireless, Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS)/Software Defined-Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) and perimeter security network technologies.
The role:
You will play a critical part in helping the team support the various technologies within our Global Network Engineering & Design team.
When required, you will be a part of after-hours project deployments in the evenings or weekends. Occasionally, you will also be expected to provide after-hours support or be a part of the teams’ rotational on call duties.
