SECURITY GUARD JOB
Location: Scarborough, Ontario (Yorkland and Sheppard Ave)

We are seeking a Full Time Security Guard for a client in the Financial Industry
$19.00/hr. Monday to Friday 1330-2030hrs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Access control provisions, ensuring the security of the client site by screening visitors, checking identification and other related documents.

Notify client employees of visitor arrivals after successfully identifying person.

Manage front desk and perimeter security of the office.
-
Escort contractors and visitors to their destination when needed.
-
Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

Assist client employees with any inquiries or concerns.

Monitor security cameras and systems to ensure they work properly and to identify suspicious persons, trespassers etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Valid Ontario Security Licence
-
Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
-
2 years of security experience in a client facing role.

Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.

Sound knowledge of access control provisions.
