Role Overview:

Seiden Health is looking for an intake/booking coordinator to join our insurer services team. You will process referrals from auto-mobile insurers following a protocol set out in the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS). It is both a technical position that requires excellent time management skills, capacity to prioritize and strong attention to detail, as well as a customer facing service position where you act as the primary contact and problem solver to the client. You will work with staff across all departments of the company, and external medical professionals. Your job is to get the referral into our system, book it, and make sure that the report goes out on time.

The position is well suited for a reliable self-starter with strong organizational skills and someone who is equally productive when working independently or as part of a team.

The role can be done in office, remotely, or hybrid (depending on your preference).

Duties and Responsibilities

· Providing front-line customer service for our clients via phone and email

· Processing referral requests into our case management system

· Coordinating and booking appointments with medical professionals

· Reviewing referral documentation to ensure completeness

· Collaborating with staff and other stakeholders on quality improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications

. Experience in Intake/Referral Coordination or Documents Coordination or other IME experience

· Understanding of relevant legislation (SABS, Insurance Act, PIPEDA)

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Knowledge of Microsoft software and applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)

· Use of web based SAAS services like SmartSimple, eClaims Workflow,

· Post-secondary education is an asset.
