Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Review contract billing documents and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Compiles and analyzes contract and project level financial information on a timely basis.
Develops integrated revenue and cost analysis, projections, reports, and presentations.
Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately.
Assist with the financial planning process, including preparation of budget and forecast data.
Assist with monthly variance analysis and reporting.
Monitor open accounts receivable, proactively manage slow payments, and resolve issues preventing timely payment of invoices.
Support internal audit activities and initiatives.
Assist management with other financial issues as required.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Ensure compliance with all Serco internal control procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
A completed university degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
A minimum of three years post university work experience in an accounting/finance department is required.
A good understanding of full cycle accounting and cost control, project accounting is preferred but not must.
Advanced skills in Excel and proficient in Microsoft Office
Possession of strong organizational skills and understanding of finance department’s controls and procedures
Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities is necessary.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Self-starters, capable of working independently with accountability.
