Duties & Responsibilities:

• Acts as relationship manager for HR with all business areas and functional unit leaders.
• Manages implementation for all national HR initiatives and projects.
• Oversees and provides guidance for all functional HR responsibilities including but not limited to: Employee Relations, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, People Development, Performance Management and Compensation.
• Directs resolution of complex employee relations issues including but not limited to conducting investigations, performance discussions, and terminations. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, managing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Creates, develops and maintains corporate policies and procedures pertaining to legislative compliance in all Canadian provinces of operation.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or similar.
• CHRP/CHRL or currently working towards it.
• 8-10 years’ of progressive HR experience, supporting hourly and salaried client groups.
• Strong working knowledge and application of employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Broad consultative HR experience, ideally within a multi-unit/location business.

Salary: $80,000.00-$110,069.00 per year
