Our client, a fast-growing food retailer, is looking to hire an Assistant Controller to join their dynamic fast-paced company located Downtown.

Job Requirements:

– Certificate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or CPA in progress
– 3 years of pertinent experience
– Proficient with Excel
– Eagerness to grow and learn
Job Description:
– Month end, journal entries
– Preparation of financial statements
– Bank reconciliation
– General ledger account reconciliation
– Preparation of intercompany reconciliations
– Accruals, amortization
– Cashflow analysis
– Government report preparation (GST/QST)
